Estimates, not advice

Everything on PaydownBase — calculators, articles, FAQs — is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not financial, lending, legal, or debt-relief advice, and using this site does not create any professional relationship. Payoff dates and loan costs depend on your actual balances, lender terms, and payment behavior; consult a financial advisor, certified credit counselor, or loan officer before making decisions.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep Federal Reserve consumer credit presets and amortization formulas current and formulas correct, but we make no warranty that results are accurate, complete, or up to date. Calculators intentionally simplify (for example, assuming a fixed monthly APR with no penalty-rate resets unless you enter them). See our data sources & methodology page for citations, assumptions, and known limitations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaydownBase and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site — including missed payoff targets, higher interest costs, loan denials, or credit score impacts.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculators freely, including for client work. You may not scrape the site at abusive volume, attempt to disrupt it, or republish substantial portions of its content without permission.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Questions: contact@paydownbase.com.
